Haier Thermocool refrigerators come in a nice variety of different sizes and designs and are a perfect blend of aesthetics and performance. This compact Single Door Fridge is fully equipped with direct cooling technology and a moderate 90 Liters gross capacity and is sure to help preserve your leftovers and keep your drinks chilled. There is a lot of competition in its class of compact single door refrigerators but we believe this Haier Thermocool 90Liters refrigerator deserves a review.

In terms of build even though this is a one-door refrigerator, it is divided into a fridge and a freezer compartment; this a very sought-after feature to help you keep your soups separate from your drinks even if they are still kept in the same cooling space. Its 90 Liters capacity (net of 77 liters) is comparable to others in its class, (See the LG 131 review here), it Freezer compartment is just 12 liters but we did not expect anything radically bigger than that at this price range. The 12 liters will accommodate about a whole chicken when cut into pieces or 2 large bowls of soups place side by side. The Freezer is also equipped with an ice cube tray.

The refrigerator operates on voltage supply ranging from 220v-240v at 50HZ, I’ll advise you use a voltage regulator (Stabilizer) as a form of protection to safeguard this against voltage fluctuations. The door on the device is reversible so you can position the refrigerator in any location in your kitchen and not worry about how to open the door, you can reverse your door in about 10 minutes yourself. The dimension is  480*454*664 in mm, so it will not occupy too much space in your kitchen. This is a very good contender in its space and I will say it will not be a terrible buy at all. You can easily power this with your 2.5KVA generator or inverter with no problems at all.
